MIDTOWN. Puppetry is its own art form, combining art and drama to educate and entertain. This museum – the largest of its kind in the world – takes visitors on a tour of the development of puppetry around the world. See all kinds of puppets, from Indonesian shadow figures to the ever-popular Muppets characters. Displays also show how puppets are made, and performances are held regularly. The gift shop is a fun place to pick up a unique gift.
