Description: PONCEY-HIGHLAND. A great alternative to the high-profile joints in Va-Hi and Little Five Points, this North Poncey gem is a favorite with the local alternative crowd, who adore the eclectic beer selection and cool music. Take a seat at the funky bar area and imbibe to your heart's content or, if you like, make your way over to what may be the downtown area's best jukebox and pick a few of your favorite Smiths, REM, Dylan, Cure, or Pixies tunes. In addition, the Righteous Room's kitchen serves up some of the best bar food you can imagine, whether it's one of their tasty burgers with fried onion straws or a turkey pita and hummus.

Alright, I work here and I have to say that we have the best regulars of any bar that I have been to in Atlanta. The food is some of the best food that I have had at any bar in Atlanta...and I have been to all of them. I can say from working there that they do not cut any corners. Everything is made from scratch. If you are going to support your local mom and pop businesses, this is definitely one of the finest. The clientele is urban, which to me means that whether you have a pink mohawk or a three piece suit, you are welcome...
