Description: Located in what was the first public school for black students in Western Virginia, the Harrison Museum of African American Culture holds a special place in the heart of anybody who has toured it. Inside, you'll see exhibits on local history, the Civil War, and the Civil Rights Movement. There is a museum store where visitors may purchase cards, books, and craftwork.

Tue-Wed, Fri 10am-5pm; Thu 10am-7pm; Sat 1pm-5pm 
Admission: Free; donations are appreciated
