Description: Located on the Blue Ridge Parkway at milepost 115, the Explore Park is a living history museum and nature center. Exhibits here range from those depicting frontier life in the 17th and 18th centuries to those focusing on local flora and fauna. The mock-19th century Brugh Tavern offers guests an authentic frontier dining experience, and the park also has a gift shop.
