Description: DOWNTOWN PHOENIX. This museum traces the city's history from 1860-1940 and even tracks its progress from prehistoric days to early settlement to current city. As such, visitors can view Native American artifacts, memorabilia from 19th-century businesses, and documentation of civic projects. Ever-changing special exhibits and events commemorate local heritage throughout the year, regularly providing new material for history buffs.
