And if you want to sit down, get your sandwich to go – there is only a standing-room counter at the Grocery.

They have the best muffuletta sandwiches in New Orleans. Stand in line with the locals to get one of these delicious sandwiches. It's more of a store than a restaurant and has a lot of imported Italian items.

Best Muffalata's in town. Stop each trip and even take one to eat on the plane trip home.
