I have been purchasing large numbers of shirts & jackets from Maus & Hoffman for about 6 years now, but since Oct 2004 I have no longer bought anything for the follwing reason; they offer very nice (expensive- a bit over priced). Mens clothes, their shirts, sweaters and jackets are very desirable and up to date in fashion, BUT, heres where the BIG PROBLEM comes in, they display their shirts/sweaters/jackets in their catalogues with complementing slacks/trousers, and their shirts and sweaters range in sizes from Small-thru 2XL, BUT THEIR slacks & trousers are offered ONLY UP TO SIZE "44." I guess Maus & Hoffmans buyers haven't taken stock of the size of the average american today, size 44 waist doesn't apply to many of us, and why should I buy a $100 shirt or 200 sweater if the slacks that they display them with are unavailable to me because I wear a 48 waist!! Its not only bad buisness but it sends a message that we'll (maus & Hoffman) will only be non-discriminatory on the surface, and it also dosen't excape me that the shirts/sweaters and jackets are much more expensive than the slacks, so they have no problem taking my money for their expensive line of shirts but will not accomodate me with complementing slacks etc.
I'd like to see them address this as soon as possible so I and many many more like me can shop their again!
