We found Chelsea's while living in Asheville in 1995. We try and visit in the fall and winter and Chelsea's is the first place we go. They have a wonderful afternoon tea that makes a great late lunch or early dinner. If you do go you have to have the English triffle! It is to die for! They also have a great lunch menu. While waiting for a table you can browse the "food hall" on the right side of the tea room or the left side which has books, linens, perfumes and too many unique gifts to mention. Have fun! My mother and I are driving up this weekend for her birthday and I know where to get her birthday cake!
