Devoted to savory meats and flavorful sauces, the restaurant features such dishes as rack of lamb with country mustard or duck breast with a port and dried cherry sauce. Appetizers themselves are a brief foreshadowing of the meal, and pates and soups celebrate the French culinary tradition. Meals are accompanied by salads and bread; desserts are also available. Since the place is small and regulars dine frequently, you'll need to make advance reservations.

This is a charming and first rate restaurant. Service was excellent-attentive but never intrusive. The Osso Bucco and a St. Supery Meritage made for a memorable evening.
