        Description: Shade trees and rolling terrain lead the way through this lavishly landscaped historic cemetery. Started in 1849, the cemetery and gardens were part of a romantic movement to create aesthetically pleasing rural burial sites. Forest Lawn is the resting place of President Millard Fillmore and William D. Fargo. The grounds are exquisite and are listed in the National Historic Register.

        Description: The fort, which sits on the head of the Niagara River, shares a tri-cultural history. First held by La Salle and his French troops in 1678, the fort eventually was a stronghold for both the British and Americans. The oldest structure on the grounds dates back to 1726. Special events are planned during the summer months and include cannon and musket firing demonstrations.

        Description: Completed in 1896, this Romanesque masterpiece is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Designed by famed architect H H Richardson, who considered the building his finest achievement, the center is a striking example of his Romanesque style. Although no tours are available, still worth viewing from the grounds.

        Description: Built in 1904, this house showcases the talents of one of America's premiere architects. Frank Lloyd Wright designed the home, which has a 100-foot covered arbor, a glass roof conservatory, and a classic horizontal streamlined design. The house also features long banded windows, pitched roofs, and distinctly over-hanging eaves. The Martin House is over 10,000-square feet and features Wright's "Prairie House" concept. Reservations required for tours.
