Description:
Awesome, and well worth the 40 mile drive from Columbus to this incredible "Little Grand Canyon" in Georgia. Man-made due to poor farming practices, the soil has literally fallen away, creating deep colorful canyons. Walking trails (three miles, seven miles), camp grounds, picnic tables and an interactive center are on this preserved site. Wear your hiking shoes, you WILL get muddy on the creek beds at the bottom of the canyon. Look for the armadillos. |
