Presented by Charleston City Paper, the Charleston Green Fair is an event for the entire environmentally-conscious family. Earth-friendly goodies galore will be on display, products and services alike, with plenty of fun and educational activities planned. Topics will include transportation, building, health and wellness, and outdoors education. There will be music, lots of stuff for the kids, local and sustainable foods, and a beer and wine garden fundraiser. With the help of Seven Star Events who produced the event, 94% of the waste from the event was diverted from Charleston’s landfills. |

This three-day festival is generally held in October or November at Boone Hall Plantation. Around 50 restaurants participate in sharing their tastiest fare with the public. The Taste also has a waiter's race, a wine and beer tasting tent, children's activities and more. Live entertainment on the main stage starts at 3pm. |
