        Description: This ten-kilometer Memorial Day run draws more than 40,000 runners of all ages, skill levels, and abilities. At the sound of the start gun, disabled athletes take off in their low riding three-wheelers, followed by a very eclectic assortment of running enthusiasts. Don't be surprised to see Elvis or Abe Lincoln in running shoes, a sprinting belly dancer, or a jogging bride and groom in mid-vows.

Colorado Shakespeare Festival

        Description: This prestigious event is one of the top Shakespeare festivals in the country. It's held at Mary Rippon Outdoor Theater on the campus of the University of Colorado and at the University Theater. Four plays are featured each summer; a dozen performances of each one is offered. Everyone associated with the plays is a trained Shakespearean professional. Backstage tours are available before each show.
