Description:
Dotted with sugar maples and fruit trees, the Clover Lawn estate is a treat for the eyes. Four original buildings dating from the 1800s still stand on this once-working farm, including a carriage barn (1868), foaling shed (1872), stable (1856), and the woodhouse (1872), designed by Piquenard, which housed the privies used by farmhands. Colorful gardens and ornamental plantings show their beauty here, especially during the spring and summer months. |

Description:
Once the home of US Supreme Court Justice David Davis, this mansion gives the full effect of wealth and power long ago. Built in 1872, the mansion features a unique and graceful design, and houses a coal-burning stove, gas lighting, indoor plumbing and other features that were "modern" luxuries in the late 1800s. |
