MONT-TREMBLANT RESORT VILLAGE. This attractive little cottage, almost an anachronism in this modern Resort Village, is actually one of Tremblant's oldest buildings. The quaintness of the exterior is echoed inside, where the rustic décor and comfortable furnishings give the place a homey feel. La Grappe's International menu has a Québec lilt, boasting such delicious dishes as pheasant pie, beef carpaccio, rabbit rivette with carrots, dill salmon with three sauces, and a brilliant grilled vegetable baguette. If it's nice out, ask to dine on the garden patio, where tables get ample shade from the trees flanking the house, providing a great setting for a late-afternoon bottle of wine or a few cocktails.
