Acclaimed chef Barbara Hill owns and cooks at this incredible restaurant. Her cuisine, full-bodied and exactingly prepared, is created around fresh, seasonal ingredients, many of which she grows herself. Her own tastes influence the menu, which includes cornmeal-crusted red trout, "Belle Isle" baby back ribs, and ten-spice salmon with Japanese noodle stir-fry. You'll also find light pastas, rich risottos, and a luscious collection of side dishes, including caramel carrots and macaroni and cheese. But if you think the meal's over with these, think again. Barb's black bottom banana cream pie is a prizewinner and a local favorite – don't miss it. And don't be surprised if she comes out to meet guests as well.
