BRANSON WEST. Marvel Cave is an underground attraction that was opened to the public in 1894 by Canadian William Henry Lynch and his daughters, Miriam and Genevieve. At one point, explorers thought one of the cave walls was solid marble; therefore, the cave's name was originally Marble Cave. The name evolved into Marvel Cave, and that's how it's known today. Visit this "marvel" of nature, and you're sure to be spellbound by abundant subterranean beauty. |

HARRISON. When you visit Mystic Caverns, you get to visit two underground caves--Mystic Cave and Crystal Dome. Both hold visitors spellbound by their beauty and mystery. A tour guide will take you through each cave, pointing out interesting tidbits and telling local legends. You're sure to appreciate the sounds of the cave's "pipe organ" as well. Tours depart approximately every 35-40 minutes. These caves are 47 miles south of Branson in Harrison, Arkansas. A visit here makes a great day trip. |

THE STRIP. Ride the Ducks is an 80 minute land and water tour of Branson and Table Rock Lake. The Ducks self proclaim that their ride is the best show in Branson! They have good reason too. The tour includes a trip down Country Music Boulevard where guests get the inside scoop on all the various theatres and shows and are given "behind the scenes" information. Next, the tour takes riders to the top of Baird Mountain, a great Branson vantage point. The tour also goes from land to water as the Duck ventures into the waters of Table Rock Lake. |

NORTH BRANSON. Located north of "The Strip" in Branson, the Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama is a spectacular production that features 80 actors and actresses, over 40 horses, a flock of sheep, and a burning cabin! Other spots of interest include Inspiration Tower and the Old Matt Homestead. Inspiration Tower is 230 feet tall, made of 3 million pounds of concrete, situated atop Inspiration Point, the second highest spot in the state of Missouri, affording it great views of the area. Meanwhile, historic Old Matt's Cabin features items that belonged to the real-life predecessors of the characters from Harold Wright's "Shepherd of the Hills," the book on which the outdoor drama is based. |

THE FALLS. This butterfly sanctuary draws guests who appreciated nature and beauty to its peaceful environs. This large, indoor exhibit is over 9,000 square feet in size and features all manner of live butterfly species as well as a variety of plants and shrubs that attract butterflies. The collection of butterflies consists of more than 50 varieties from all over the globe, numbering about 2,000 total at any given time. |
