Description:
Featuring a traditional Tillinghast design, this demanding course with relatively tight fairways and small greens requires that you hit the ball well to shoot a good score. To be in great shape, avoid trees off the tee, and accurately place the ball in the fairway to avoid being blocked out for the approach. Take advantage of early holes since they only get harder as the round goes on. |

Description:
LEWISVILLE. Surprisingly enough, this tough course is noteworthy for its hilly terrain, an oddity in relatively flat Dallas. Golfers of all skill levels find ample challenges – rolling fairways that sometimes hide greens, numerous water hazards, difficult out-of-bounds areas, and unforgiving greens. Be ready for number seven, a "mere" 200-plus-yarder highlighted by a beautiful pond – just don't let the scenery distract you! |

Description:
IRVING. Expect trouble on this outstanding course. It boasts hazard-lined fairways and greens protected by gaping bunkers, so you'll want to hit the ball on target. With a number of stout par-4's and some demanding par-3's, the challenging par-70 layout plays even tougher when the winds blow. Be prepared for tricky putts because greens are large and sloping. |

Description:
Immaculately maintained, this course boasts perfect greens. By finding putting surfaces on approach, you'll avoid many well-placed hazards, including lakes and bunkers. Don't get carried away off the tee either, because fairways are relatively tight and lined by a number of trees that can cause problems on the approach if your tee ball is off line. N.B. Description:
MCKINNEY. Make sure you take a long look out while on the tee, because hazards tend to protect many of these landing areas. Fairways in great condition lead to oversized, speedy greens. Keep approach shots in the correct part of the green to avoid dreaded three-putts. Be prepared to prop your feet up after a round, too, because this course will beat you up if you're not careful. |

Description:
GRAND PRAIRIE. You can bring out the driver on this course as most of these fairways have liberal landing areas, however severely off-line shots can find the treacherous woodlands lining most of these holes. The trouble peppering this layout includes bunkers, water hazards, mounds and gullies. While changes in elevation here will provide some scenic views, they also tend to make club selection a challenge. |
