Description:
DULUTH. From humble beginnings in 1931 – when the group first performed in a local carriage house – DSSO has emerged as one of the area's strongest performing arts organizations. From classical European symphonic works to concerts featuring the music of contemporary composers, the group knows few boundaries. In addition, DSSO regularly showcases international composers and musicians, adding to its regional stature. Performances are held in the theater of the historic Depot.
