Appleton has an affinity for America's national pastime – in fact, a professional baseball team has been in the area for more than a century. Over the years, the team's name and affiliation have changed frequently, and players have been known as the Papermakers, Foxes, and, now, the Timber Rattlers. The home team moved into their new stadium in 1995 and have enjoyed a record-setting following ever since. |

This Appleton event features a variety of different races with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society. Runs include 1K and 5k races. There are even races and activities for children. Entry fee includes a race t-shirt. |
