The Bergstrom-Mahler Museum boasts what some regard as the world's foremost collection of decorative glass paperweights. French, English, German, Italian, and American in origin, most of these exquisite pieces date from the mid-19th century. Also housed in the museum are collections of Germanic glass, contemporary sculpted glass, and Victorian-era art glass. |

APPLETON. Known far and wide for its liberal arts programs, Lawrence University boasts one of the area's top galleries at Wriston Art Center, home to the studio art and art history programs. The three Wriston Galleries, located in the western portion of the building, exhibit the work of students, faculty, and independent artists.
