CEDAR RAPIDS. When it was built as an open-air shopping plaza in 1960, this mall was Iowa's largest. In 1980, the complex was enclosed and expanded and then further renovated in 1997. Today, Lindale is anchored by Von Maur, Younkers and Sears and is home to over 100 shops and to a 500-seat food court. Talbots, Express and Gap are just a few of the other retailers located here. Busy shoppers may rent strollers to make browsing easier; wheelchairs can be used free of charge. |
