THE DRAG. Veggie Heaven is incredibly popular and almost always packed, even in steak-happy Texas. Devotees usually have particular favorites among the 40+ options on the menu. Tangerine Mushrooms are quick-fried and tossed with broccoli in a spicy citrus sauce – this dish alone will knock your socks off. There are also tofu, tempeh, and seitan concoctions aplenty, so don't think you'll miss out on your daily protein intake. Not surprisingly, Veggie Heaven has won numerous awards from the local press and public. |
