Description:
Each spring, Old Dover Days celebrates the rich history of Delaware's capital by opening historic homes and gardens to the public and staging family-friendly events throughout the historic district. Included on the three-day slate is an art show, a parade, maypole dancing, a craft fair and a concert at the Schwartz by the Dover Symphony Pops. Although the celebration is citywide, many major components take place in and around the Capitol Complex on the Green. |

Description:
Other than during election time, when do things in Delaware's capital really get revved up? That'd be the two times each year that Dover International Speedway hosts its well-attended NASCAR events. In late May or early June, race fans from all over the country head to temperate Dover for a weekend of high-speed thrills. After a few months of cooling off, the Monster Mile heats up again in September. On \\"Monster Weekend\\" Thursdays, the grandstand is open to folks who want to take in practice and qualifying runs. |
