        Description: ALPHARETTA. Natural park setting is situated on 48 wooded acres and is home to a host of regional flora and fauna. The Preserve features more than a mile of hiking trails dotted with natural beauty and panoramic vistas. Historic buildings mark the landscape and offer views into the rural history of the region. Scheduled tours provide information and background on the Preserve and Autrey Mill. Picnic areas available.

Historic Mansell House

        Description: ALPHARETTA. This lovely Queen Anne-style home has been preserved by the city as a testament to Alpharetta's rich heritage. The Mansell House features original heart pine floors, antique mantles and fireplaces, 12-foot ceilings, and period antiques. The on-site gardens feature an award-winning design and complement the historic home beautifully. The garden includes a festive gazebo and lovely arbor. Walking tours of the home and gardens are available Monday and Friday, only by appointment. The house is also available for rent for special occasions.

        Description: ALPHARETTA. This rustic site is the sole remaining FFA-constructed log cabin still in use today in the United States. The historic cabin is located on the ground of Milton High School and is a fun destination for history buffs and local residents alike. The cabin is packed with implements and household furnishings that date from the 19th and early-20th centuries. The well-attended Alpharetta Heritage Festival is held here each year in late September.
